      Karibu sana hapa DeepCogitation

As to your question, Blog-Admin is a firm believer in the true and founding philosophy of the internet i.e provide a platform for different people spread all over the world, to freely express and engage in constructive dialogue, kindly take time to read the following articles

      https://www.eff.org/wp/blog-safely

      http://www.informationdissemination.net/2010/09/chinfos-twelfth-commandment.html

From which I quote the following paraphrased excerpt from the latter
      ________________

When posting information on social media sites it is important to understand:

      • Everything online is potentially available to everyone in the world, including co-workers, friends, family, adversaries and criminals.
      • Information posted online can remain there – forever. It can then be used in ways its originator never intended.
      • Individuals are personally responsible for what they post online.

All of these points are important. Content on the internet is often permanent. Most importantly, on the internet you are defined and evaluated by what you say, not who you are. Social media is a reputation based industry where credentials are established by your content. It is actually why a blogger with good content can be anonymous and yet relevant, but also why not being anonymous means your reputation will be determined by your content.

      ________________

In any event since a majority of bloggers have not and will likely never meet face to face, providing you with a name e.g John Doe, does not bring you any closer to knowing the person and instead only leads you to draw on existing stereotypes and prejudices that may be associated with the name.

However, FYI – Blog-Admin on this forum is a collaborative effort or function (capable of and is actually carried out by more than one person) rather than an individual.

This forum is co-owned by its key members who behind the scenes continuously discuss and make recommendations, which are then implemented.

      • Happy new year to you and your loved ndugu Daktari! I am honoured kwa kunikaribisha kwako.

Bwana Admin. Thank you for good and prompt reply. I understand you and will be looking forward towards more interaction with the Deep soon, once and if I get ‘invited’.

        Cheers.

  1. And I take this opportunity to honour the visionary leadership of our very able and competent Blog Admin in 2012. She/He led with stable hands and a cool head. Jah Bless him/her!!
